Galerie Gallimard will present, from October 3 to December 23, 2025, an exhibition and sale dedicated to Terre des hommes by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, illustrated by Riad Sattouf. A book signing with the artist will take place on Saturday, October 4, from 2 to 4 pm.

The exhibition will showcase art prints from the book, drawn and signed by Riad Sattouf. His illustrations, imbued with a spirit of adventure, humanist sentiment, and childlike emotion, will be presented alongside exceptional archives related to the writer-aviator and the original French publication of Terre des hommes in 1939. Manuscripts, letters, photographs, and signed first editions from family and editorial collections will further enrich the display.

The archives of André Prévot, the mechanic who accompanied Saint-Exupéry on the 1935 Paris-Saigon raid, complete the exhibition. They bear witness to the accident in the Libyan desert, a pivotal episode in Terre des hommes and a central moment in the author’s poetic reflection on the meaning of existence.

When Riad Sattouf’s artwork meets the universe of Saint-Exupéry, the work becomes both a visual and literary experience, presented by Éditions Gallimard in collaboration with Les Livres du futur, the Antoine de Saint-Exupéry Estate, and the Charles-VII Museum of Mehun-sur-Yèvre.
