The Little Prince turns 80!

An iconic golden-haired character and a worldwide publishing phenomenon, The Little Prince is the most translated book in the world, with over 500 official translations. Written and illustrated by Antoine de Saint Exupéry, The Little Prince was first published in 1943 in New York in English and French, before being released in France in 1946 by Gallimard, where it became a bestseller selling over 14 million copies.

The Little Prince has been successfully presented in a variety of forms: a historical exhibition at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in 2022, musicals, an opera, dozens of theatrical adaptations, a film in the cinema (César for Best Animated Film in 2016), a museum in Japan, a village in South Korea, an amusement park in Alsace, an official shop in Paris, events all over the world, as well as beautiful collector’s items for fans all over the world, available from the online shop.
