The Jardin des Sculptures at Château de Bois-Guilbert unveils a new exhibition dedicated to Saint Exupéry

4, Apr, 2024

The Château de Bois-Guilbert in Normandy, an enchanting space already labeled a Remarkable Garden, is transformed into a place of poetry and reflection with the inauguration of a special exhibition dedicated to Antoine de Saint Exupéry. Organized in partnership with the Antoine de Saint Exupéry Youth Foundation, the exhibition marks the 80th anniversary of the death of the famous writer and aviator.

From April 1 to November 3, visitors are invited to immerse themselves in the fascinating life and work of Saint Exupéry through an exhibition rich in discoveries. Drawings by Cédric Fernandez, illustrator and co-author of the 3-volume comic book about Antoine de Saint Exupéry published by Glénat, and sculptures by Jean-Marc de Pas, including the famous representation of The Little Prince inaugurated on New York’s 5th Avenue in September 2023, will be at the heart of this immersive experience.

The exhibition, sponsored by renowned writer and geographer Michel Bussi, features a diverse collection of commemorative items, from photographs and historical documents to educational panels. It offers an in-depth look at the life and legacy of Saint Exupéry, both in his aeronautical exploits and his timeless literary work, including his universally acclaimed masterpiece, The Little Prince.

In addition to the exhibition itself, visitors will also have the opportunity to take part in special encounters, guided tours, and interactive workshops, offering an immersive and educational experience for fans of aviation, literature, and art.

Immerse yourself in the captivating world of Saint Exupéry and be inspired by the sculptures of Jean-Marc de Pas in the heart of the Jardin des Sculptures, a not-to-be-missed experience for all lovers of poetry, art, and literature!
