This summer, the Carrières des Lumières in Les Baux-de-Provence invites visitors to dive into the starry, poetic world of The Little Prince with a brand-new immersive exhibition. Starting July 4, discover or rediscover Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s masterpiece in a stunning visual and sound experience, where every detail comes to life on the monumental walls of the quarries.

From asteroid B612 to the desert, and through the planets visited by the Little Prince, the journey takes us on a moving and universal exploration. The exhibition is open every Friday and Saturday evening, offering a magical experience under the stars.

🌌 Special Opening Night at the Carrières des Lumières
To mark the launch, a special evening is being held in partnership with the Town Hall of Les Baux-de-Provence and the Astronomes Amateurs du Delta. On July 4 at 8:30 p.m., visitors will attend the immersive screening, followed at 9:15 p.m. by a talk on habitable worlds led by astronomer Claude Suc. At 9:45 p.m., the evening will continue on the esplanade of the Château with a stargazing session featuring the gibbous moon, stars, planets, galaxies… and perhaps a few shooting stars💫

🧣 Comfortable shoes, a light jacket, a blanket, or a cushion are recommended to fully enjoy the evening.
🪐The Little Prince is also returning to Bordeaux!
From July 4 to August 27, 2025, the exhibition will also be shown at the Bassins des Lumières in Bordeaux, following its successful first edition at the end of last year. Starting at 5:10 p.m. each day, let yourself be swept away on this immersive journey where words and watercolors come to life on the walls and in the water.

A summer under the stars, filled with dreams, poetry, and wonder in Provence as well as in Bordeaux 🌹🦊🌍.
