For the release of the illustrated edition of Terre des Hommes by Antoine de Saint Exupéry, artist Riad Sattouf will meet his readers for an exclusive signing session* on Wednesday, 10 December 2025, from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Petit Prince Store - Paris.
For Riad Sattouf, Terre des Hommes is a formative text that he has reread constantly since his teenage years. The author of L'arabe du futur and Les Cahiers d’Esther draws vital energy from it, a push toward the world, and sees in it the dawn of adulthood.
By enriching it today with 150 illustrations, he invites readers to rediscover Antoine de Saint Exupéry’s masterpiece first published in 1939. Night flights over the sea, solitude in the African desert, dangers in the Andes, bonds of brotherhood between pilots, encounters between cultures come to life with a renewed intensity.
The work of Antoine de Saint Exupéry is a timeless call for peace, dialogue and universality. His message resonates more than ever today, more than 80 years after his passing. Bringing his texts back into the spotlight through the vision of highly talented contemporary artists is for us an essential mission.
