The Little Prince collaborates with HTC VIVERSE technology for an XR experience

The Little Prince collaborates with HTC VIVERSE to bring The Little Prince Call to Adventure to life, an immersive XR experience that transforms the iconic story into a journey to be experienced physically. Developed by Wevr, this free-roam creation will be presented at ES CON FIELD HOKKAIDO in Japan from December 12, 2025, to February 28, 2026, with additional locations planned afterwards.

The game follows the core storyline of the original tale. Players embark on the Little Prince’s journey as he leaves his asteroid and his rose to explore different worlds. Each stage features a meaningful encounter with iconic characters from the book, such as the pilot, the fox, the king, or the lamplighter, advancing the story through a series of immersive scenes.

The gameplay is based on walking, exploration, and interaction. As players move through the real-world space, they trigger scenes and engage with characters and environments using simple gestures. The experience is not about completing challenges but about taking the time to observe, listen, and feel. Its deliberately slow pace helps foster an emotional connection with the story.

Thanks to HTC VIVERSE XR technology, the experience places presence and connection at the heart of the storytelling. Lasting approximately 40 to 45 minutes, the game is designed to be enjoyed in groups and is suitable for all ages. For this first presentation in Hokkaido, the experience features Japanese voice acting and marks the beginning of a rollout to other locations internationally.
