The Artistic Games Le Petit Prince at the Carrousel du Louvre

2, Jan, 2025

Created in 2021, the Artistic Games are an initiative of the Association for the Development of France-China Exchanges, with the support of the World Federation of UNESCO Clubs and Associations. For the third edition of the Artistic Games, the Antoine de Saint Exupéry Youth FOundation is joining forces, launching a major international art competition inviting children from all over the world to unleash their creativity by completing original unfinished manuscripts by Antoine de Saint Exupéry.

Ten works have been carefully selected for their ability to stimulate the imagination of young people, offering a unique opportunity to integrate children's creativity with the world of Saint Exupéry. Participants, divided into four age groups (5-8, 9-12, 13-15 and 16-18), are invited to choose a work to complete, register via the official website and submit their final creation. The works will be assessed by a jury, and the winners will receive awards such as prize certificates and invitations to international exhibitions, including at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris.

By encouraging children to reinvent their own vision of The Little Prince, the Antoine de Saint Exupéry Youth Foundation perpetuates the author's creative spirit and love of drawing, while nurturing the imagination and talent of younger generations around the world.

Among the 60,000 works created by children from China and 20 other countries, art teachers will shortlist around 800 paintings. Members of the Honorary Committee will select their 50 favorite works for a special grand prize.

The works will be exhibited at a major event at the Carrousel du Louvre on February 8 and 9, 2025, during which the Night of the Little Prince, the inaugural ceremony of this 3rd edition, will take place.
