After its success in France at the Atelier des Lumières in Paris, the Bassins des Lumières in Bordeaux, and the Carrières des Lumières in Les Baux-de-Provence, The Little Prince continues its journey and lands at Phoenix des Lumières in Dortmund, starting 5 December. The exhibition Der Kleine Prinz – Ein immersives Märchen invites visitors to rediscover Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s iconic work through a visual and sound creation that brings the original drawings and characters of the book to life.
This experience offers a poetic journey from planet to planet, where the Rose, the Fox, the Snake, and all the symbolic characters appear to explore the story’s key themes, including friendship, imagination, and the search for meaning. Revisited visual creations blend seamlessly with the author’s original illustrations, while an enveloping soundscape enhances the emotional impact of the entire show.
The projection is accompanied by the voices of the characters, including the pilot, who guides visitors just as in the original story. Designed to resonate with all generations, this immersive experience invites the public to dive into a vivid and contemporary interpretation of the masterpiece first published in 1943.
