To mark 20 years of its collaboration with the descendants of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, IWC Schaffhausen unveils a new chapter of its Le Petit Prince collection at Watches and Wonders 2026. This year’s releases celebrate a milestone for the maison, combining technical innovation, poetic storytelling, and the universe of Le Petit Prince.
At the heart of this collection is the introduction of the new Perpetual Calendar ProSet, marking a significant evolution in IWC’s perpetual calendar system. For the first time, it appears in a Le Petit Prince edition, alongside the expansion of the universe into ceramic chronograph executions and, for the first time, into the Portofino collection.
Since its origins, the Le Petit Prince collection has been defined by its deep blue sunray-finished dials, inspired by the night sky. This signature element evokes the vastness, silence, and emotional depth of flight, becoming a symbolic link between aviation, exploration, and introspection.
Over two decades, the collaboration between IWC Schaffhausen and the heirs of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry has evolved into a meaningful creative partnership, extending beyond watchmaking into cultural and charitable initiatives with the Antoine de Saint-Exupéry Youth Foundation.
This year also marks 90 years of IWC Pilot’s Watches and 20 years of this collaboration, reinforcing the dialogue between precision engineering and emotional storytelling that defines the Le Petit Prince universe.
