Gallimard Jeunesse presents The Little Prince, the musical tale, a new adaptation of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s masterpiece in an immersive and poetic book-and-CD format.
Through this project, the universal work takes on a new dimension, carried by the voice of Denis Podalydès and enriched with fifteen original and catchy songs, specially created to accompany the story.
Composed by Balthazar Pouilloux and Adrien Mercier, this musical tale offers a true sonic journey through the world of the Little Prince. The Silmaril Orchestra and five singers bring to life the story’s iconic characters: the rose, the aviator, the fox, and the Little Prince himself.
This book and CD offer an experience that combines storytelling and music, with 70 minutes of listening available both on CD and via QR code. It allows listeners to experience or rediscover the story differently, through narration and music.
Intended for children aged 6 and up, this musical tale also appeals to adults who wish to rediscover this classic from a new perspective. The combination of text, music, and illustration creates a shared experience for all generations.
👉 The musical tale will also be performed on stage at Salle Cortot in Paris, on Friday, April 17, at 8 pm and Sunday, April 19, at 3 pm (French time) . More information here:
