Le Petit Prince Groupe has won two distinctions at the 2025 Licensing International France Awards: Licensor of the Year and Cultural Product of the Year for Wind, Sand and Stars by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, illustrated by Riad Sattouf. Le Petit Prince Groupe awarded Licensor of the Year 2025
The Licensor of the Year Award recognizes a long-term vision: developing one of the world’s most powerful cultural licenses while balancing heritage, innovation, and excellence.
Today, the universe of The Little Prince represents 300 million books sold, 680 translations, making it the most translated literary work in the world, 5 million copies sold each year, as well as a network of 400 international licensees and 60 active licenses in France.
Following the global success of the POP MART collaboration in 2025, Le Petit Prince Groupe continues its development in 2026 with several major partnerships, including La Monnaie de Paris, La Poste, BIC, Lindt, Sushi Shop, and Berluti, whose capsule collection was unveiled in Paris during Fashion Week.
Beyond licensed products, the Group is also expanding its cultural experiences through immersive exhibitions, audiovisual productions, stage performances, and artistic collaborations.

Wind, Sand and Stars illustrated by Riad Sattouf awarded Best Licensed Cultural Product 2025
Published in October 2025, Wind, Sand and Stars illustrated by Riad Sattouf received the Cultural Product of the Year Award. This edition brings together the original text by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry and 150 original illustrations by Riad Sattouf, offering a contemporary reinterpretation of this literary classic.
Since its release, the book has achieved strong success, with over 100,000 copies sold in three months, extensive media coverage, and a nationwide tour of author events across France. The illustrations were also showcased in an exhibition at the Galerie Gallimard, which will travel to the Musée Hergé in 2026.
This award highlights Le Petit Prince Groupe’s commitment to introducing Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s works to new readers through collaborations with contemporary artists. This editorial project will continue later this year with the publication of an illustrated edition of Night Flight Vol de nuit by Riad Sattouf.

“These two Licensing Awards primarily reward a vision: bringing a universal cultural heritage to life through creative collaborations, exceptional products, and experiences that allow new generations to discover the work of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. […] They also recognize the remarkable work of our teams, our licensees, and all our partners, who contribute every day to the international reach of The Little Prince. […]” says Sophie Kopaczynski, CEO of LPP Groupe.
